Lighting the Way

A.S.C.A. Student Council Secretary lights a candle before the 2016-2017 Student Council representatives and Safety Patrol members take their oath of office during their Nov. 1st induction ceremony. The candle represents the light given to us at birth; students pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit to perform their duties with commitment and responsibility.

Student Council Induction

During the Nov. 1st All Saints Day Mass A.S.C.A.’s 2016- 2017 Student Council representatives from Grades 5th through 7th were inducted. As school leaders, Student Council members serve the A.S.C.A. community in a variety of ways including leading the student body in Morning Prayer and announcements, heading monthly food drives and giving their peers a voice.
