The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey visited ASCA on Friday, May 13th as part of the Shakespeare LIVE! program. The troupe performed A Midsummer Night’s Dream for grades 5-8, and answered questions from the audience after the performance. The students loved the energetic production, and laughed heartily at the characters’ antics. It was a lovely way to spend a spring afternoon, and many were pleasantly surprised to discover that they enjoy Shakespeare!

3rd Annual Leadership Trip

World War II Memorial

On Wed. April 27th, All Saints Catholic Academy’s Student Council, moderated by Ms. Nicole Narese and Mrs. Diane Molesky,  and Safety Patrol, moderated by Mrs. Jennifer Cardino,  visited New Jersey’s World War II Memorial and State House. The 45 member group learned about the history of New Jersey’s State House and former governors as well as what state assembly representatives and senators do in their respective positions. They were able to visit Gov. Christie’s Press Room and the visitor’s galley of both the state senate and state assembly.  School leaders also viewed a lesson on stars at the NJ State Planetarium. This is the 3rd Annual Leadership Trip for ASCA. Students raised funds for this trip through a St. Patrick’s Day bake sale.
