ASCA’s Third Annual Catholic High School Expo will take place on Wednesday, September 20 in the gym.
Families of our 7th and 8th grade students are invited to speak with representatives from a dozen area high schools and ask questions about the application process, extracurricular activities, and scholarship and financial aid opportunities. Doors will open at 5:00. The Expo will run until Sr. Rita’s Back to School Night meeting at 6:30.
Marist High School is offering our ASCA family a special discount. Click here for more details.
We are all, undoubtedly, aware of the recent weather problems that Hurricane Harvey inflicted upon the state of Texas.
Part of ASCA’s Belief Statement, tells all that “We encourage our students to be charitable to others.”
With this in mind, the faculty, staff and students of our school will be holding a “TEN CENTS FOR TEXAS” campaign, Monday, September 11 through Thursday, September 14, 2017.
Students are asked to bring DIME donations to school, to be placed, at specific times, in grade canisters that will be set up in the gym. (This is strictly a good will gesture.)
In the meantime, you are asked to keep those Texans who have been affected in your prayers.
We will keep you updated on our progress.

Thanks to the help of many worker bees, our garden is vibrant, thriving, and SO colorful! We couldn’t have done it without you Hannah, Naomi, Amory, Karisma, Nicole, Rachel, Courtney, Hailey, Christina, and Hannah! Thanks also to moms Lori, Sil, and Denise and teachers Mrs. Czerwienski, Mrs. Minerley, and Mrs. Weening. We ask that everyone be respectful of the garden. Please only admire it with your eyes.

ASCA’s travel group, led by Sra. DeChiaro, has arrived in Costa Rica! The group is having fun as they visit a coffee plantation to learn all about the coffee making process. Next up, a pineapple plantation! If you would like to take part in next year’s Educational Trip to Europe, contact Sra. DeChiaro at email@example.com.
