ASCA hosted its first annual Forensics Tournament. Students in grades 5-8 prepared for months under the direction of Mrs. Cardino, Ms. Hennessey, and Mrs. Stuckey. In addition to our team, four other Archdiocesan schools competed: Notre Dame Interparochial School, St. Dominic Academy, St. Francis Academy, and St. Nicholas School. Five categories were offered, each for JV and Varsity. ASCA placed 3rd overall.
Our 5th graders were the stars of today’s school-wide assembly! For months they have been learning ballroom dances through our affiliation with NJPAC. Today they demonstrated what they have learned, read original poems, and explained each dance. They are more than ready to compete next week as we host five other schools to see who will advance to the Colors of the Rainbow competition at NJPAC.
