This week we celebrate Hispanic Heritage month. Thank you to the families who have loaned us their family heirlooms and artifacts to display in our entry hall.
This Wednesday, September 21, 8th grade parents are invited to attend our second annual High School Expo at 6pm. ASCA’s Back to School Night is also scheduled for this Wednesday at 7pm. Parents in grades 1-8 are asked to be in attendance.
Upcoming: Student Council candidates will give their speeches on Friday, September 30; elections will be the following Monday, October 3.

Due to poor response, both the Mother/Son Dance and Designer Bag Bingo have been cancelled. They were scheduled for June 4 and June 5 respectively.
A select group of 7th graders are attending Introduction to Medquest Classes at Marist High School on Friday mornings. These classes are designed for students with an interest in science or pursuit of a medical career. We are grateful to Marist High School for offering this opportunity to our students.
The STEM Expo Science Fair for grades 5 & 6 was held on May 4 and 5. Congratulations to our future scientists and engineers! The winners are as follows:

The Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey performed A Midsummer Night’s Dream for students in Grades 5-8 on Friday, May 13.
