Lollipop Fundraiser

Beginning Wednesday, October 16, Student Council will be selling Halloween and patriotic lollipops for $2 each. If your child will be purchasing lollipops, please place money in an envelope with your child’s name and grade, as well as the number of lollipops being ordered and the amount of money enclosed for payment. Representatives will arrive in each classroom during homeroom period to fill orders.  Thank you for your support.

School photos will be taken on Tuesday, October 15 of students in Grades Pre-K3 through 7. Please note that all students in grades Kindergarten through 7 must wear their full winter uniform.  Moving forward, students will wear their winter uniforms every day until April 30. For uniform requirements, please refer to our dress code.

Image result for congratulations and thank youOn Friday, October 4, Sr. Rita and her faculty attended the Archdiocese of Newark’s annual beginning of the year Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark. At the end of Mass, three of our teachers were recognized for their years of service in Catholic education. Congratulations to Mrs. Gilson for her 30 years of teaching in the Archdiocese of Newark. Congratulations to Mrs. Gallagher and Mrs. Lynch for their respective 20 years of educating children in the Archdiocese of Newark. We thank you!

Basketball News

On Monday, October 7, we will be having a meeting for all parents whose children (in grades 3-8) are interested in participating in our basketball program this year. The meeting will be held in the gym at 6pm.
Information will be shared regarding our new league (Hudson County). Applications will be available. Please be aware that players in grades 6-8 will have to have a physical as part of their registration process. Packets are available from our nurses.
