Why the State Budget Matters to Our Families

The Governor’s Fiscal Year 2019 Budget cuts funding for nonpublic school programs. These losses directly affect our children’s health and safety and mean that we will have to do more with less or go without next year. Meanwhile, public school aid has been increased by $283MM.

Your voice can and will make a difference in the budget!

Marist Olympics

Congratulations to this year’s 7th grade Marist Olympics team! In the 10 years that ASCA has been participating in this yearly event, this is the first time ASCA has won a team trophy — these young men and women earned third place overall.  Individual winners are as follows:  Matthew McCabe, first place in Computers; Nicholas Herrmann, third place in Social Studies; Quincy De Leon and Gianluca Logan, second place in General Knowledge.  We are so proud of you!
